The nikah ceremony will be held outdoors and reception will be held in a climate controlled tent. The garden will be open to guests, and there will be tables set up outside so please feel free to explore the grounds and sit elsewhere. Weather in Houston is slightly cooler in October but can still be warm and humid during the day time. It typically cools down a bit once sun goes down. In case of rain, nikah ceremony will be moved to a covered location.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure you can be seated by 4:30pm.

Mayeda and Mansoor will be in traditional Pakistani attire, along with some friends and family, so feel free to take your pick. We've included Pinterest board links for inspiration under the Events page!

The venue is about a 15 minute drive away from downtown Houston, and there will be free parking at the venue. Ubers are also readily available in Houston and surrounding areas, and we suggest this as a safer option for some.

We would love for your plus one to join us but space is limited. Please notify Mayeda or Mansoor if you don't see the name of your special someone in your RSVP, and we will try to accommodate. As for children, we hope you can consider this as a date night out for the parents. If you have extenuating circumstances that wouldn't allow for childcare, please let us know!
